I'm arriving @ Narita Airport on 31st Aug at 1:15 pm then i need to travel to Tokyo, staying 4 nights, then onto Kyoto for 3 nights, returning to Narita Airport on the 7th August.. While in Tokyo I will be visiting different parts of the city and maybe using buses/trains.. Should i buy the 7 day pass or not? thank you for time

A return ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto would cost you roughly 28,000 yen. This may be cheaper or roughly the same price for a 7 day pass. If you will be spending a large proportion of your time visiting Tokyo, please be aware that the metro is privately owned, so the JR Pass will not be valid when taking the subway. You would be able to use the JR Pass on JR lines such as the Yamanote or chuo however.
