Do I Need a JR Pass

Trip info:
Tokyo-Kyoto 4 Ago
Kyoto- Osaka 9 Ago
Osaka-Nara 10 Ago
Nara- Osaka 10 Ago
Osaka-Himeji 11 Ago
Himeji-Osaka 11 Ago
Osaka-Tokyo 12 Ago

Do you think I need a 7 day o a 14 day JR pass? Do you think I need only the Kansai Pass?
I think the best way could be to buy the ticket at the station and bought only the Kansai pass for 3 days ( 41 EUR ) ( Kyoto-osaka-nara-himeji )
Thanks

    Hi,
You don't "need" a JR Pass - the question is if a pass pays off for you.
The length of your trip is 9 days - so without adding more side trips aq 14 day pass would not pay off. A 7 day pass would pay off with Himeji included but you'd need to shorten your stay by 2 days to Aug 4-10. If you got the 7 day pass, you wouldn't need the Kansai Area Pass.
If you don't want to shorten your stay, you can just buy regular tickets, or get the Platt Kodama ticket to save some money and take an hour longer.

The 3 day Kansai Area Pass would not pay off for your plans. The 1 day pass to go to Himeji and back would, however.

So it's all up to what you want.
