Hi Japan Rail Pass Team,
We are a group of four booked 6 days Osaka stay include 1day Kyoto & 1day Nara.
1) Kindly advise the most suitable pass for our trip in end Apr 2015.
2)Can we use the Kansai regional JR pass for Osaka subway?

You could use a Kansai regional pass, which come in 1, 2, 3, and 4 consecutive day formats. This will allow you to travel between Kyoto, Osaka and Nara.
The JR Pass is only valid on JR Lines, and can not be used on any private lines, including the subway. We would advise purchasing an IC card for use on the subway.
