we will be traveling in Japan in November, for a 14 days. We are wondering if JR pass would be good for this trip ?
We'are also wondering what would be the best way to get from Narita to Kyoto?
Our initerary is:
Fly in Tokyo Narita; From Narita to Kyoto by train
6 days in Kyoto with side trips to Yamazaki Distillery and Nara
Travel from Kyoto to Koyasan
Next day travel from Koyasan to Arima Onsen/Kobe
Next day travel from Arima Onsen/Kobe to Tokyo
5 days in Tokyo, then fly out from Narita
With this itinerary, what pass would you recommend we get?

It looks like you are going from Tokyo to the Kansai region for more than 7 days - a 14 day pass would not pay off for your plans. Unless you expand your plans with some more travel, regular tickets would serve you best.
