Which JR Pass?
About the Rail Pass
Hi, I'll be travelling to Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Fujikawaguchiko, Nikko and Nagano and was wondering if there was a particular pass which covered these locations? Thank you in advance!
You don't mention your length of travel nor where in Nagano. It may be that a JR Tokyo Wide Pass might work for you. For Nagano, you can go up to see Karuizawa.
No JR Pass can get you through both Hakone and the Fuji 5 Lakes, although the Tokyo Wide Pass can take you up to Kawaguchiko.
For Hakone, you'd need a Hakone Free Pass or the Fuji-Hakone Pass from Odakyu.
The Loop Course is a common way to see all the sights of Hakone and takes a full day.
You might want 2 Tokyo Wide Passes to cover 6 days.
The Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass is also worth looking at since Enoshima is worth a visit too.
If you wanted to travel further, then the JR East Nagano Niigata Area Pass will likely be what you want.
It does not cover the Fujikyu train from Otsuki to Kawaguchiko however.
You can see regular fares, routes and schedules on Hyperdia.
