I am travelling to Osaka and Kyoto for 5 days. Which pass should I buy to save me the most money?
Here's my itinerary:
Day 1 (5th) - Tokyo
Day 2 (6th) - Tokyo
Day 3 (7th) - Kyoto
Day 4 (8th) - Kyoto
Day 5 (9th) - Osaka
Day 6 (10th) - Osaka
Day 7 (11th) - Tokyo
Day 8-13 (12th-17th) - Tokyo

The only pass that would be available to you for this itinerary is the national JR Pass, as it will cover you for both regions you plan on visiting. We would advise getting the 7 Day Pass and activating it on day 3, when you go to Kyoto.
