I am going to travel for about 9 days in Japan going from Tokyo to Kanazawa to Takayama to Kyoto to Osaka. I was going to carry a normal large size luggage bag with me, with rolling wheels. Do I need the Green pass or would the normal pass be enough space to carry luggage of this size? Thanks

Hi,

The Green Cars do allow more space for luggage, but please be aware that there is no designated luggage area on any of the trains. Therefore bags will have to be placed in front of you. Our advice is to travel as light as possible if you can.

We left our luggage behind back last seat in the car even big suitcases fit at the back .
