    Hi,
Given that you are traveling solely in Hokkaido, you would need to look at the various Hokkaido rail passes - but since your travels are about 7 days, there are only two that might suit you - the Hokkaido Rail Pass - Flexible 4 Day Pass version. But for that, you must do your rail travels in any 4 days (your choice) within 10.

Or the full 7 day pass - but it is more expensive.
By my calculations, you would get your money's worth, but not by much.

If you can't do that, then you have to pay out of pocket for some trips or don't use any pass.

There is no train to Sounkyo (Daisetsuzan) - you can only go as far as Kawakami. From there you need to take a bus.
It's also unclear why you are also choosing Biei and Furano - the flowers of summer will be long gone. The autumn flowers end at the start of October.

You can find regular rail fares, routes and schedules on Hyperdia.

  • Hi Tenjin San,

Thank you for your suggestions. Will look at other places to replace Furano and Biei since its not the right time to visit. One question I have to ask is, if I buy the 7 day JR pass, when using to travel from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Tokyo on the Hayabusa, do I need to pay for the reserve seats. I'm thinking of using the train instead of flying from Hakodate to Tokyo.
  • Hi,
No, you do not need to pay anything extra.
