Hope you can help to clear my doubt over JR pass to be used during holiday in Japan from 9 - 21 Dec.
Day 1 - we arrive Osaka Kansai Airport and stay one night at Airport hotel
Day 2 - Osaka Kansai -> Nara
Nara -> Osakajokoen
Morinomiya or Osakajokoen -> Shin-Osaka
Shin-Osaka -> Umeda
Namba -> Shin-Osaka
Day 3 - Shin-Osaka <-> Universal City (2 ways)
Day 4 - Shin-Osaka to Kyoto
Kyoto <-> Inari Station (2 ways)
Kyoto -> Kinkakuji
Kinkakuji -> Nishiki Market
Nishiki Market -> Kiyomizu
Kiyomizu -> Kyoto
Kyoto -> Shin-Osaka
Day 5 - Shin-Osaka -> Kanazawa
Kanazawa -> Shirakawa-go (Nohi bus)
Day 6 - Shirakawa-go -> Kanazawa
Day 7 - Kanazawa -> Yudanaka (near Nagano)
Day 8 - Yudanaka (Nagano) -> UEDO STATION
Day 9 - ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA) -> Maihama
Day 10 - Maihanma -> ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA)
ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA) -> Kawagoeshin
Kawagoeshin -> ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA)
Day 11 - ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA) -> Tsukiji
Tsukiji -> Shinjuku - Gyoemmae
Shinjuku - Gyoemmae -> ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA)
Day 12 - ASAKUSA(TSUKUBA) -> Meiji-Jingumae
Meiji-Jingumae -> ASAKUSABASHI
ASAKUSABASHI -> NARITA INTL AIRPORT T1
End Of Japan Trip
So with above travelling plan may I know what is the "right" pass to be used?

It's a bit tricky because some of the trips you mentioned are not covered by the national JR pass.
The following journeys are covered by the pass :
- Kansai airport -> Nara
- Nara -> Osaka
- Osaka -> Kyoto
- Kyoto -> Fushimi Inari
- Kyoto -> Osaka
- Osaka -> Kanazawa
- Kanazawa -> Yudanaka (only part of the trip)
- Yudanaka -> Tokyo
- Tokyo -> Kawagoe
- Tokyo -> Narita (Narita Express train only)
All the other journeys (the bus between Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go, subway in Osaka and Tokyo) are not covered by the pass. It's not really interesting to purchase several regional passes (Kansai area pass + Takayama Hokuriku pass + East pass), so I would recommend getting the national JR pass, for 7 or 14 days, but it might not be the most cost effective option.
