I plan to buy 7 day JR Pass for us (3 adult and 1 child) for Tokyo to Osaka (3 days in Osaka), Osaka to Kyoto (2 days in Kyoto) and Kyoto to Mt Fuji (1 day trip) then from Tokyo to Narita airport. Total 7 days. Is it worth to buy 7 day JR Pass? or is it better to buy Pasmo Card? We're thinking of getting on Shinkanshen for travelling between Tokyo - Osaka - Kyoto - Mt Fuji. Not sure ... this will be our first time. Thanks.

It would be best for you to purchase the JR Pass for 7 days. It would work out cheaper for the journeys that you have planned.
The Pasmo card is only for local transport within major cities such as the Tokyo Metro this card cannot be used for the journeys above.
