My older daughter is 11 until January 28th. We will be using our JRail Passes from April 16-22. If I purchase her JRail Pass EXCHANGE ORDER after January 16th but before January 28th (while she is still 11) can I get her the Child Pass. According to the JRail official site: "Children who are age 6 through 11 as of the date on which the exchange order is issued are eligible for child PASS prices." She would be 11 at time of purchase put 12 at time of activation (which will be within 3 months of the exchange order purchase)

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately as your daughter will be 12 at the time of activation of the Japan Rail Pass, she is not eligible for a child pass.
