Hello,
I am curious if it would be cheaper to get the JR EAST pass ($167 USD) rather than purchasing shinkansen tickets to Nagano.
I'm really not sure what else I may or should check out if I were to get the JR EAST pass; any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

You can see regular fares, routes and schedules on Hyperdia.

A simple round trip comes up cheaper with regular fare tickets. But if you will be going all over the area, the pass might be better.

Curious about JR Tokyo Wide Pass (JR Kanto Area Pass).
I understand that JR Tokyo Wide Pass (JR Kanto Area Pass) cover for all JR Line in Tokyo, include Narita Express (from Narita to Tokyo).
Is it also cover for Gala Yuzawa route? I mean, if I already bought JR Tokyo Wide Pass (JR Kanto Area Pass) I also can go to Gala Yuzawa without purchase any ticket anymore?
You can go to Gala Yuzawa on the JR Tokyo Wide Pass but only during the ski season.

Thanks for your reply,
If I buying the bus fare - "Mt.Fuji & Fuji Five Lakes Passport", does it mean that I no need to buy Retro bus and Fujikko Bus ticket anymore ?
It covered all the Kawaguchiko and Yamanaka areas?
