Hello,
We are a family of 2 adults and 1 child 2.5 yrs old traveling from US to Seoul, South Korea for 3 days (March 22-25), then via Japan (March 25-April 4) to return to US. Here is our draft itinerary:
March 25: Kansai Airport Arrival 8:55 PM - Ōsaka-shi, Ōsaka-fu
March 26: Osaka
March 27: Himeji - Kobe - Osaka
March 28: Nara - Kyoto
March 29-31: Kyoto
April 1: Nagoya - Tokyo
April 2: Tokyo
April 3: Mt Fuji - Hakone - Kamakura
April 4: Tokyo - Narita Airport Departure 7:15 PM
Please advise if we can manage our trip with 7 days JR Pass in addition to suggestions for other advance reservation (bus pass, pocket wifi, tours etc...) prior to our departure to Incheon, Korea on March 21.
We greatly appreciate your recommendations for our first trip to Japan. Thank you very much for your time!
Have a pleasant day!

A 7 day pass would not pay off for such a one way itinerary.
There are some regional passes that can help here and there. To get from the airport and around a bit, there is the Icoca & Haruka discount ticket.

To get to Himeji/Kobe, there's the Kansai Area Pass.

To get as far as Nagoya, there is the Kintetsu Rail Pass.

For Hakone, there's the Hakone Free Pass.

You really could not see both Hakone and Kamakura in a day.
And to get to Narita cheaply, there is the 1000 yen bus.

Hope that helps you.
