Kansai Regional Pass

I've been told this pass covers a trip from Takamatsu, Kagawa, Shikoku, to Osaka but have not been able to find out how to activate it in Takamatsu since it's out of the Kansai area. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Unfortunately the Kansai Regional Pass will not cover you for a trip to Takamatsu.
