Train timetables?

Hello,

I'm planning on going to Japan in a few months and I'm currently doing my itinerary. I heard that the trains in Japan are very efficient but I don't know how often they run, for example between Tokyo and Kyoto. Do you know where I can find train timetables?

To search all of itineraries in Japan, there is a very useful web site:

If you use Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet train) between Tokyo and Kyoto, you can check "Bullet Train" to look for only Shinkansen's timetable.

Please note that the timetables do not include the duration to make a transfer.Stations can be really big so it may take a long walk.....(up to 15 minutes)
