We are travelling from Kyoto to Hiroshima on 4 August, which is a few days before the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing. I am concerned that it will be difficult to get a seat on the train without a reservation. Is it possible to reserve, and how, and do you think a reservation is necessary? We will be using the Japan Rail Pass. Thanks.
