Advice on 14 day rail pass

Arriving in three weeks and unsure if Jr pass is of value given my itinerary
Tokyo to Hirsohima, 3 nights, Hiroshima to Kyoto 5 nights with day trips to Nara and Osaka, Kyoto to Takayama 2 nights, Takayama to Tokyo 4 nights with day trip to Yamagata. I am using hyper diva to check schedules but unsure how to filter to just get Jr pass trains.

A Tokyo to Kansai round trip with a side trip to Hiroshima added in would make a 14 day pass pay off. The Yamagata trip would be icing on the cake.

Under "More Options", be sure to uncheck the Nozomi box since you can't ride that train using the pass.
You can put the check back in though for the trip to Yamagata, since you can use the Hayabusa with the JR Pass.
