Renting a car

Hello,

I will be traveling to Kyoto on 11-18-18 and will be there until the 24th. I was thinking about renting a car for a day and exploring the region some. I have a question about tolls and if it would be feasible to rent a car. Any suggestions or information would be helpful.

It depends on many factors, like how many passengers, how far you're going, if tollways are involved, etc.
Generally, renting a car only makes sense if you are only going someplace that public transport does not go, at least conveniently.
