JRL Pass, 14 days holidays in Japan on june 2015

Hi All,

On June 2015 Me and my husband, and my 2 son under 12 years will go to Japan for 2 weeks and will arrive at Narita and departure at Osaka.

We are planning go to:
- Japan Alpine Route in Tateyama,
- Hakone
- Tokyo Disney
- Mount Fuji
- Kawaguchi Lake
- City tour in Tokyo
- Kyoto
- Osaka

Are 7 or 14 days JRL Pass can be use for the place that we are planning to go?

If it can be use, can u help me to describe the route that we must take for visitting that place we are planning?

Thank you,
Tanty

I suggest that you check the Japan map for where you want to go, and look up if you can use JR to go from point to point. Then you decide how many days of JR pass would fit. In general, if you travel from Tokyo to Osaka, stopping at Hakone and Kawaguchi Lake areas, 7 days will be my pick. You start using the JR pass when you leave Tokyo heading to Osaka, and ends when you arrive Osaka. I am not familiar with Tateyama, and I am guessing that you will NOT use JR pass to go there and come back to Tokyo. If you are planning to make a long stretch of one trip, moving from point to point, then you may need to use 14 days of National JR pass.
