Hi,
We will be visiting from Shinjuku taking the RomanceCar to Hakone and stay 1 night in Gora. The next morning, we plan to visit Fuji Five lake for half a day and then from Fuji Five Lakes proceed to Osaka.
I have a few questions to ask, if anyone can help to answer
1. From Hakone, how do we go to Fuji Five Lakes?
2. Which lakes should we g, given the limited time we have (Kawaguchiko?)
3. From Fuji Five Lakes, how do we go to Osaka and how long will it takes as we need to be in Osaka by 9pm to check-in to our accommodation.
Thank you very much.

Japan Guide has some great information on how to travel between Hakone and Fuji Five Lakes: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6905.html
Most people visit Kawaguchiko, since it's the most accessible of the lakes. It boasts hot spring baths, various museums, Fuji Q Highland amusement park, boat tours, and a ropeway leading up a small mountain next to the lake. Kawaguchiko is also popular because it's a good base for climbing Mount Fuji.
From the five lakes you'll have to get back to Tokyo, and from there take the Shinkansen to Osaka. Take the Fujikyu line from Kawaguchiko back to Otsuki station (not covered by the JR Pass), and then take the JR Ltd Express Kaiji to Hachioji. From there take the JR Yokohama line to Shin-Yokohama, where you can take the Shinkansen directly to Shin-Osaka station. The total journey takes around five and a half hours.
You can check the timetable website http://www.hyperdia.com/en/ for more information.
I hope this helps.

and change the drop down menu to "To/From Osaka", then reverse the order.
You might save some money on an Odakyu pass for the area.
