We would like to travel to:

4-6 Aug - Arrive & Staying in Tokyo
7 Aug - Hakone, Mt Fuji
8-10 Aug - Takayama / Kanazawa
11-13 - Kyoto / Osaka

May I know which type of JR Pass should I buy (2 adults and 2 children).

Hi,
You still come out a little short for a 7 day JR Pass. There is no regional pass that covers all your destinations. If you can add a day trip on Aug 6 to someplace like Nikko, Karuizawa, Kusatsu, etc, you could get some good savings. You would have to pay to get from Osaka to KIX, but overall you'd save more.
If you don't want to, then normal tickets come out cheaper.
