How can I exchange or purchase my 5-day Hokkaido Rail Pass

Aggies

I will be flying into Haneda at 10pm on 3 Jul and catching a domestic flight at 8am the next day on 4 Jul to Wakkanai.

Intend to make use of the 5-day Hokkaido Rail Pass for my train trips from
1. Wakkanai to Asahikawa,
2. Asahikawa to Biei and Furano
3. Furano to Sapporo
4. Sapporo to Hakodate

Realise now that all purchasing or exchanging counters will be closed when I fly into Haneda or not open yet when I depart from Haneda for Wakkanai before 8am.
I need to start using the Hokkaido Rail Pass when I leave Wakkanai for Asahikawa by train on 6 Jul.
So far did not see Wakkanai Station listed as one of those for purchase or exchange counters for the Hokkaido pass.

Please advise how can I exchange or purchase a Hokkaido Rail Pass in my case as my airtickets are already booked and can't be changed.

You can buy the exchange order before you get to Japan, but you can only exchange it in Hokkaido, and not in Wakkanai as you mentioned. If you can't re-route your flight, you are unfortunately stuck with paying the ¥5,400 fare to Asahikawa and then exchanging the voucher for the pass there. Sorry, I can't see an easy way out of your dilemma.
