I was just wondering when you have a green pass, if you can just walk up to the station on the day of and reserve a seat (or at least get on a green car) without having to reserve days in advance. Thanks
All Green seats need to be reserved in advance. If you're travelling during a busy period then it's best to reserve as early as possible. If not you can just do it on the day.
Yes the pass will be delivered to your home address, or can deliver it to a work address if that would easier. All you need to do is add your preferred address when purchasing online. Hope that helps.
Hi, my family and I will be travelling to Japan in Dec on the following itinerary. Narita-Tokyo(3)-Osaka(1)-Kyoto(1)-Osaka(1)-Fujikawaguchiko(2)-Tokyo(2)-Haneda (# in parenthesis is nights stay). May I ask what will be the most cost effective combination of tickets to buy? Thank you.
Yes if you are planning to travel to all of these places then the 7 day JR Pass would be best. You can activate it the first day that you travel to Osaka then it will be valid for all your long journeys. To compare the prices of single tickets you can use this website, www.hyperdia.com, to find out the prices, then compare this to the price of a 7 day JR Pass.

Yes the 14 day JR Pass would include all of these places. Let us know if you need anything else.
