Hi,

Need advice for the above itinerary which we plan to cover in 6 days. We will use takayama as a base to cover gero and shirakawa.

Do we buy the JR 7 days national pass usd228? Does this pass cover the Kanazawa to Tokyo bullet train?

And how about the internal from takayama to gero or shirakawa trains and buses will the 7 day pass include all these small journeys? I notice there is a central regional pass. So which is advisable to purchase?
