Hi. i will go to osaka next month. i'm planning using Kansai area pass one day JPY2200. From my research, this pass can go to Otsu-Hikone-Nagahama. But i cant see this route on
https://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/travel-information/pass/kansai/. when i ask from expert, they said this pass will go there but not state in route map. its correct?
So, if correct please help me how to go there from osaka esp osaka - hikone using this pass so i no need to add any charges. tq

Yes you can use the JR Kansai pass for these areas. You can find the routes using www.hyperdia.com.

Here is another map of the stations covered by the JR Kansai pass that covers Hikone and Otsu. There will not be any extra charges.
