Not quite - you'd still be a bit short. But it's not hard to make up the difference. But even taking the Narita Express just once from or to Narita would do it. Or, if you can fit it in, go see Himeji Castle south of Osaka for half a day - it is Japan's finest. Alternatively, near Tokyo there are many day trip possibilities, such as Nikko, Izu, Kusatsu, Karuizawa, Kamakura, etc.
Since you are already seeing Tokyo, you can largely skip Osaka during the day. After the temples of Kyoto close down around 5PM, you can zip over to Osaka for the evening. At night the city comes alive and has some great places to see, such as Dotonbori, plus the night views from the Umeda Sky Bldg and Abeno Harukas Bldg are wonderful. Use that day time to see Nara - it's also one of the crown jewels of Japan and the Todaiji Temple is a place you'll **never forget**.
This is how it works: you must buy the exchange order for the JR Pass outside of Japan. After you arrive in Japan, you take the exchange order to one of the office that will turn it into the pass for you: http://www.japanrailpass.net/en/exchange.html
You can start using it immediately, or designate another date to be your first day. Please remember also that the day you activate it for counts as Day One - which starts and ends at midnight. So if you activate it for that day and use it at 6 PM, your first "day" is just 6 hours long. Hence if you activate it for May 26, your last day would be June 1st. And so for May 27 would be until June 2nd. With your schedule, you won't be able to use the pass to both get from Narita and to KIX on it, but there are many cheap alternatives from Narita, so it may be better to use the 1000 yen bus http://accessnarita.jp/en/home/ or maybe try a Keisei+Metro package: http://www.keisei.co.jp/keisei/tetudou/skyliner/us/special/index.html
BTW you didn't clarify it, but are you leaving Japan from Tokyo or Osaka? If Osaka, the Pass would not pay off at all with just a one-way itinerary, unless you add a side trip like going down to Hiroshima/Miyajima, or a few of the farther day trips from Tokyo like Nikko, Karuizawa, Kusatsu or Izu.
Hi there, thks for your assistance!! Here's my full itinerary. 26 May - Narita Airport > Shinjuku 27 May - Tokyo 28 May - Tokyo 29 May - Tokyo 30 May - Tokyo > Osaka 31 May - Osaka 1 June - Osaka > Kyoto (1 day excursion) 2 June - Osaka > Kansai Airport (Home Sweet Home)
Because I need to travel on shinkansen from: 1. Narita to Shinjuku 2. Tokyo to Osaka 3. Osaka to Kyoto That would pay off for my JR pass right? And i can use my JR pass for local train on JR lines like Harajuku to Shibuya, Shinjuku to Disneyland, Shin-Osaka to Osaka Station and Osaka Station to USS Osaka.
Hi, Thanks for adding the info. Unfortunately, as I said, a one way trip from Tokyo to Osaka does not make a 7 day JR Pass pay off. Also, there are no shinkansen from Narita airport. You would need to add more long distance day trips to places around Tokyo or for example to Hiroshima to make a 7 day pass worth it.
Personally, I think you can skip Osaka if you are already seeing Tokyo. Instead, go see Nara, which has some of Japan's most impressive sights. After the temples of Kyoto close down around 5 PM, you can zip over to Osaka for the evening. At night the city comes alive and has some great places to see, such as Dotonbori, plus the night views from the Umeda Sky Bldg and Abeno Harukas Bldg are wonderful.

You would need to add more long distance day trips to places around Tokyo or for example to Hiroshima to make a 7 day pass worth it.
So you could either pay the regular fare for the shinkansen, or use a low cost carrier like Jet Star, Peach, or Vanilla Air, or use a discounted tourist fare like ANA's Experience Japan Fare.

For God's sake though, don't buy a full fare airline ticket from ANA or JAL - it is totally unnecessary.
A 3 day Tokyo subway pass can also help you.
