Tokyo to Matsumoto , JR east pass.

Hi there, I am travelling Japan for 3 weeks, and I was recommend to climb Mt. Oku-hotaka-dake (奥穂高岳) & Mt. Yari-ga-take (槍ヶ岳).
According to my plan, in August.

What plan of JR pass would you recommend?

Hello, yes, both are accessible by JR passes. It depends on where you will be leaving from. I assume you will be leaving from Tokyo? Both mountains are more easily reachable by bus once you reach Matsumoto station so another way to do it is to buy a ticket to Matsumoto and then take a bus from there.
