Hokuriku Pass coverage

May I know if the pass covers :-

1. Train from Kansai Airport to Takayama. How long the journey ?

2. Train/bus from Takayama to Shirakawa-go ?

3. Nohi bus and ropeway ticket to Shinhotaka Ropeway ? If not, how do i go about getting it ?

3. Most train and bus tickets travelling to tourist spots within Kyoto and to Arashiyama and Nara ?

The pass covers the trains - it does not cover the buses, ropeway, or any subways.

Hi,

The Takayama Hokuriku Pass that we sell does cover the Nohi buses. The buses it covers are:

- Nohi Buses and Hokutetsu buses between Kanazawa, Shirakawa-go, and Takayama.
- Kaetsuno buses between Shirakawa-go, Okayama, and Shin Takaoka.

However it only covers JR Limited Express, Express and local trains between Kansai Airport, Osaka, Kyoto and Kanazawa. Travel within Kyoto by bus or train is not covered, nor is travel to Nara.

Ah, quite correct. There are many Hokuriku area passes; I was not looking at the Takayama-Hokuriku Tourist Pass. My error.
