21 days pass or 14? traveling for 19 days: Saitama - Tokto - Osaka - Hiroshima - Tokyo?

We are going to travel to Japan on October 2016, for 19 days . For the first two weeks we are going to stay at Ogawamachi Hiki-gun Saitama which is outside Tokyo. From there we plan to visit Tokyo and to spend 4 days at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea. For the last week we plan to stay at Osaka as a base for visiting Nara & Hiroshima and maybe if we have time Kyoto (I am not sure my daughter will appreciate to see so many temples considering she will see some in Tokyo) . We plan to visit the Universal Studio and the famous Aquarium hence we will stay next to USJ. We will travel with a 12 years old girl and we wonder if it will be useful for as to buy the 21 days JR pass or the 14 days pass? We plan to land in Japan on the 4th and to depart on the 22nd on the 16th or 15th we plan to arrive Osaka and to depart from Osaka (after visiting Hiroshima) on the 21st to Tokyo which is 5 days in Osaka and fly back home on the 22nd ? Also we wonder if Kyoto – though being the jewel in the crown – will not be too much for a 12 years old girl who by then will see some nice temples in Tokyo? And is it realistic to visit the museum of peace and Miyajima temple (Hiroshima) in one day trip from Osaka ? And last thing does anybody have any recommendation as to our plan?

If you go from Tokyo, down to Kansai and Hiroshima, and then leave Japan from Osaka, a 7 day pass will pay off. Neither a 14 nor a 21 day pass would pay off without more side trips. Since you want to make it the last week of your trip, it should suit you just fine though.

As for seeing temples, Tokyo has some but not nearly as many, nor as good as in Kyoto and Nara. And yes, you can see Hiroshima/Miyajima as a day trip with an early morning start.
