JRP assistance

I exchanged my voucher already and I have not received my subscriber number and hotline number to call by email for 5 days now. What is going on here? I tried calling and emailing but no response. I'm trying to get from Tokyo to Osaka if there is a JR line available as well as Kyoto.

    On 15 june l went to Shimoda rail station japan & had my jr pass. They massively overcharged me & then short changed me by 2500 yen. Beware of Shimoda rail station....they made my jr rail pass worthless.

    Hi John,

    We're sorry to hear you had trouble on your trip. Is the station you're talking about Izukyu-Shimoda station? If so, it's on a privately owned rail line. This means it's not run by JR, and not valid for use with your JR Pass, which may be why you had to pay an extra charge.
