Hi there. Please advise us on the best JR Pass to use. We're planning to arrive in Tokyo before heading to Nozawa Onsen for 5 days. From there we want to go to Osaka for 3 days and going back to Tokyo to stay for another 5 days. The total stay will be 16 days. Thank you in advance.

If you leave and return to Tokyo within 7 days for your plans, you can barely make a 7 day pass pay off. But you'd be very far from making a 14 day pass pay off without adding more itinerary.
